about

Marriah's second full-length release shows a certain growth, in her songwriting as well as her lyricism. Where previous recordings had an off-the-cuff, live feel, this album sees Marriah make strides in production quality and varied auxiliary instrumentation. This album also marks the first time in 5 years that Marriah has released piano-based songs. As the title suggests, the album focuses on lost relationships and trying to see the bright side in times of upheaval. The result is a beautiful, sensitive indie folk pop album that fits in nicely to Marriah's discography, while still forging new ground.
